The Granny Square is the classic way to use up scrap yarn The easy to memorize pattern is very soothing, almost a mediation. In this workshop you’ll learn how to make a basic granny, refinements for tidier squares, and how to deal with all of those loose ends. We’ll go over ways to join your finished squares. Bonus lesson of endless granny square as time allows. This is not a beginners class. Students must be able to chain, double crochet, and slip stitch with confidence.
Homework: If you haven’t crocheted in a while, please practice chains, double crochet, and slip stitch before coming to the workshop.
Materials fee: $10 payable to presenter day of workshop (cash or venmo). Includes one crochet hook and all the yarn for the class.
