Crochet is a great way to make all kinds of cool little motifs and emblems, especially flowers! In this workshop we will make a classic crochet motif, the lazy daisy. We’ll learn how to make different sizes and how to chain them all together. We’ll go over finishing and fabric stiffening techniques for different applications. Students will be well on their way to their own garland at the end of the class. This is not a beginners class. Students must be able to chain, single crochet, and slip stitch with confidence.
Homework: If you haven’t crocheted in a while, please practice chains, single crochet, and slip stitch before coming to the workshop.
